See What Creators Are Saying
Real feedback from creators who print with ARCO.
High-Speed, No Wobble
Breaking Away from Traditional Moving-Bed Designs

Engineered from the Ground Up for Total Stability
Most CoreXY printers move the heatbed during printing, which causes the model to shake. ARCO uses a fixed heatbed that keeps the print steady while its flying gantry lifts the printhead with precision. Like an F1 car accelerating with perfect control, ARCO delivers both speed and stability in every layer.
Arco Reinforces Stability Right from Its Structure
Typical FDM Structure

- Model moves with the bed, causing wobble.
- Unstable center of gravity.
- Large prints often fail.
- Higher risk of layer shifts and stringing.
ARCO’s Optimized Structure

- Model stays fixed on a stable, non-moving base.
- Low center of gravity for ultra stable printing.
- High success rate, even with large-scale models.
- Lower risk of layer shifting and stringing.

Details Matter. ARCO Delivers Rock-Solid Stability

ARCO is the first to bring patented industrial-grade heat pipe technology to FDM printing. Paired with a huge 18 mm gear, this system cools efficiently and shortens the distance between the extrusion gear and nozzle, delivering stronger torque and higher flow for smoother, clog-free printing.
ARCO DEP Extrusion: High Stability, Maximum Precision
Standard Extrusion

- Longer extrusion path.
- Frequent extrusion issues.
- Smaller gears lead to weaker torque and low flow.
- Quality varies with different materials.
ARCO DEP Extrusion

- Ultra-short extrusion path.
- Smooth and more precise extrusion.
- Larger gears provide stronger torque and higher flow.
- Consistent quality across a wide range of materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Phrozen ARCO reliable for single-color printing?
Is the Phrozen ARCO reliable for single-color printing?
Yes. Reviewers consistently call single-color printing “very reliable.” DEP extrusion minimizes clogs, while the fixed-bed CoreXY design reduces layer shifts on tall prints. Some testers even report better results than Bambu X1C.
What materials can the ARCO print?
What materials can the ARCO print?
PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, nylon, ASA, PC, and carbon/glass fiber composites. The 300°C hotend covers all standard and engineering-grade filaments. For ABS, nylon, and PC, pair with the PentaShield enclosure to stabilize chamber temperature and filter fumes.
How does ARCO compare to Bambu P2S or H2S?
How does ARCO compare to Bambu P2S or H2S?
ARCO offers higher acceleration (40,000 vs ~20,000–36,000 mm/s²), a larger build volume (300x300x300 vs 256x256x256 mm), patented DEP extrusion, and an open Klipper system. Bambu uses a closed ecosystem.
Does ARCO need an enclosure?
Does ARCO need an enclosure?
Not for PLA or PETG. The optional PentaShield enclosure is recommended for ABS, nylon, PC, and carbon fiber composites — it maintains stable chamber temperature, cuts noise by 15%, and filters odors. It’s also useful for home or classroom environments where quiet operation matters.
What is DEP extrusion and why does it matter?
What is DEP extrusion and why does it matter?
DEP (Direct Extrusion Path) is Phrozen's patented hotend design. An industrial heat pipe keeps the melt zone short, so filament doesn't soften and jam in the wrong spot — that's heat creep, the #1 cause of clogs in FDM. The 18 mm dual gear delivers 9.5 Nm torque, handling everything from TPU to carbon fiber. Fewer clogs means fewer failed overnight prints.
Is ARCO good for printing large models overnight?
Is ARCO good for printing large models overnight?
Yes. The DEP extrusion system virtually eliminates clogging, and the fixed-bed design prevents layer shifts on tall prints. Material breakage detection pauses the print if filament runs out. The built-in 720p camera lets you monitor remotely. Users report successful overnight prints of 20+ hour models.
What slicers work with ARCO?
What slicers work with ARCO?
Phrozen Orca is the official and recommended slicer for ARCO, optimized for performance and actively maintained. ARCO runs on an Klipper system, so any slicer that exports standard G-code is also compatible.
Is ARCO noisy during printing?
Is ARCO noisy during printing?
ARCO is designed to reduce noise with its enclosed structure and optimized motion system. With the PentaShield enclosure, noise can be reduced by up to 15%, making it suitable for home, studio, or classroom environments.
Is ARCO difficult to set up?
Is ARCO difficult to set up?
No. ARCO comes pre-assembled and requires minimal setup. With auto-leveling, most users can start printing within minutes.
